   TechShack prevails 0.5 Million Worth Network Project

-District Secretariat, Kilinochchi signs MoU with TechShack


TechShack, VanniTech’s Employment Incubation Centre signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with District Secretariat, Kilinochchi, a governmental administrative unit of Sri Lankan state on the first day of this year 2008, proving the technical capabilities and the reputation of TechShack in the North-East region.

According to the agreement, TechShack installs a Local Area Network with 30 computers and peripheral devices for District Secretariat, Kilinochchi and maintains 60 computers and 31 printers for District Secretariat, Divisional Secretariats of Karachchi, Kandawalai and Pallai for one year. As a result of this new venture TechShack has offered employment opportunities for VanniTech’s passing out graduates. The MoU was signed by Mr. N. Vethanayakan, Government Agent, Kilinochchi and Mr. K. Thayapararajh, President, Vanni Institute of Technology in the presence of Mr. P. Jeyaraj, Additional GA-Finance, Mr. A. Uthayarajah, Director, TechShack, Mr. K. Sarvesvarakumar, Network Engineer, TechShack and Mr. S. Elilkumaran, System Administrator, VanniTech.

 “Even though we could assign this project to one of the IT companies in Colombo, TechShack has been a highly reputable organization for us because of its professional standards”, said Mr. N. Vethanayakan, GA, Kilinochchi. “We would be able to communicate quickly and run our daily operations effectively in the future. Our collaboration with TechShack has been pretty good and we are looking earnestly for cordial dealings with the organization and its staff”, he further added in his address.

 “TechShack has reached another milestone in this new year by triumphing this remarkable agreement as the continuity of rendering quality services in Computer & Telephone Network, Database & Web Based Design, and Consumer Electronics Design in our region”, said Mr. K. Thayapararajh, President of VanniTech. “It’s one of our proudest achievements and it illustrates the quality of our academic and professional programs and the confidence people have in VanniTech” he further added.

VanniTech is an Advanced Technological Institute, and a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) based in Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka.
